The Czech National Adaptation Hub is part of the European AdaptationHubs initiative under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. It serves as a bridge between the European, national, and local levels, helping translate climate strategies into concrete measures in regions, cities, and landscapes.
Its purpose is to enable coherent, inclusive, and strategic adaptation action across sectors, institutions, and levels of governance.
What the Hub Does
Coordination
Engagement of national stakeholders, public institutions, and sectoral actors to ensure alignment with national adaptation priorities and policy frameworks.
Implementation Preparation
Establishing mechanisms for inclusive engagement that ensure the effective integration of expertise, local knowledge, and institutional capacities.
Implementation Support
Providing support and organizational capacity to accelerate the delivery of adaptation strategies and measures.

Project
AdaptationHubs is a project funded by Horizon Europe Coordination and Support action (HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01-02). The Czech National Adaptation Hub, facilitated by Czech University of Life Sciences, operates as part of a broader pan-European network of national hubs, contributing to collective learning, coordination, and the scaling of effective adaptation solutions across the European Union.
